Breanne is proud to be the owner of Hitched, where she leads an incredible team of wedding professionals. After over 15 years in the event industry, she can truly say, wedding planning is her passion. Breanne started her career in NYC as a professional actress, which led to project management for Broadway theaters, special event coordination in restaurants, and finally landing her at Hitched in 2016.

Moving to KC and joining Hitched represent the best years of her life. Bree loves Hitched so much that, when the opportunity arose, she bought the company in 2021!  Working closely with her clients is what continues to drive and motivate Bree. “I love my clients like I love my family.”

When not doing all things weddings, you can find her snug as a bug in a rug, watching a good movie with with her two puppies, daughter Ollie Lou, and hubby Christian!

Brittany Gutermuth

Senior Coordinator

Brittany brings years of experience working at Hitched as a senior Coordinator and running restaurants around the US! Her background planning dozens of weddings for others along with her own allows for a unique insight to the planning process. Brittany thrives in the relationships she forms with her couples as well as vendors. She loves that she can bring calm in the chaos of a wedding day to fulfill her couples’ dreams!

Brittany is a Kansas City native with a long history in the service industry. She fell in love with Hitched after hiring them for her wedding in 2019 and realized the tremendous value Breanne and her team brought to her big day

Although she loves working at Hitched, Brittany’s favorite role is being a mom to her little Blair. Her love language is food-cooking or eating! Therefore, date nights with her husband revolve around trying some of Kansas City’s best restaurants.

Lisa Forbes

Senior Coordinator

Known for her grace under pressure, creativity, and genuine warmth, Lisa Forbes has been designing meaningful moments in the event and wedding industry for over 15 years. Lisa loves building relationships that feel more like family than business and last long after couples say “I do”. Lisa’s intimate approach helps her connect with each couple so that their wedding day is a true reflection of who they are and what their love story symbolizes.

Lisa takes equal pride in the creativity and execution of a last-minute, backyard ceremony and the extravagance of a black-tie event. Her weddings have gained local and national attention, and she’s a favorite among the photography, floral, and vendor community in Kansas City. 

When she’s not busy with her dream job, Lisa keeps two boys, one husband, and two cats alive. She drinks wine and lays on beaches with her girlfriends every chance she can and she always has a good book on her nightstand.

Laura Klover

Associate Coordinator

Having spent over 8 incredible years in the dynamic world of marketing and events, Laura has become an expert in turning dreams into reality. Her journey has been all about refining her skills and cultivating a knack for transforming chaos into organized perfection. From coordinating intricate details to orchestrating seamless events, she’s learned that it's not just about planning; it's about creating memories. 

Now, as she embarks on this thrilling venture of making weddings truly magical, she brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion that only grows stronger.
